March For Our Lives Volunteer Opportunity

On March 24, the kids and families of March For Our Lives will take to the streets to demand that their lives and safety become a priority, and that we end gun violence in our schools and communities. The Looking Out Foundation is recruiting volunteers worldwide to join the March For Our Lives on Saturday March 24th. Brandi and the twins will have their feet on the ground and guitars in hand to help amplify the cause in Seattle. So please join us or one of the 580 events worldwide as we embark on a unique project to help galvanize this movement.  The Looking Out Foundation has partnered with TinFish Films to document the March For Our Lives in an effort to ensure this is a movement and not just a moment in time. So we are asking our Street Team to attend the March For Our Lives in your city and help us capture this historical moment by submitting simple iphone/smart phone/camera videos and images.  To join our Looking Out Foundation March For Our Lives Street Team and for more detailed instructions please email: [email protected] Thank you for helping us make music mean more! Calling All Volunteers for Brandi's March tour dates!...

It's 2018, we are over halfway toward our fundraising goal for The Story Campaign and we are more committed to this cause than ever. Please lend us your support as we enter into the next phase of our campaign to help children whose lives have been torn apart by war. The Story Campaign is hitting the road with Brandi Carlile this spring and we need volunteers! “All of these lines across my face tell you the story of who I am.” To commemorate the 10 year anniversary of Brandi Carlile’s “The Story,” The Looking Out Foundation has partnered with War Child UK and Children In Conflict to launch The Story Campaign – a sharing of stories from children whose families, communities, and schools have been torn apart by war. Every month, we will be posting new stories from these resilient children and young adults so that their voices can be heard and so that we can raise funds to help them and the thousands of other people who are unfairly impacted by war. All proceeds from The Story Campaign will benefit War Child UK & Children In Conflict. “But these stories don’t mean anything when you’ve got no one to tell them to” We’re relying on our Looking Out community to share these stories and help us reach our $1 million fundraising goal for these extraordinary people. We are recruiting two volunteers per show to join our Looking Out Street Team. You will be armed with iPads to sign people up and collection buckets to raise funds and awareness for The Story Campaign. Selected Street Teamers will be provided with a ticket to Brandi’s show, a limited edition Street Teamer T-shirt and an amazing opportunity to help children in dire need across the globe. In addition, the Street Teamer who signs up the most people will win a VIP concert ticket package for any Brandi Carlile show in 2018. All we ask is that you are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and inspired by The Story Campaign.
